Sarah is a curator and filmmaker working at the intersection of contemporary art, moving image, and experimental storytelling. Her practice is driven by curiosity, collaboration, and their creative methodology centres risk, intimacy, and discovery. Across exhibitions, films and projects, they challenge form, expand representation, and reimagine how stories can be told.
With a background spanning curatorial leadership and hands-on filmmaking, Sarah brings a rare dual perspective to every project—shaping contexts for others’ work while continually refining her own creative voice. Her films and projects often blur documentary and fiction, grounded in real lives, subcultures, and moments of transformation.
Sarah’s work is defined by care: for artists, audiences, and ideas that might otherwise sit at the margins. Whether programming a major exhibition or crafting a film from the ground up, she is interested in work that lingers—visually, politically, and emotionally—long after the lights come up.
